From the age of eleven Devon knew apparel design was not just a hobby for her, it was her life’s passion. She has always been enamored by the way in which a garment can simply transform one’s identity. Devon's design aesthetic is a juxtaposition of tailored clean silhouettes paired with textured fabrics and embellishments. She especially loves working with monochromatic color-ways and creating depth in the details. Prior to obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Devon had taken several years of sewing and design classes, attended precollege programs at FIT, and went on to study at a vocational school with a focus in fashion design and merchandising. In addition, she has competed in both state and national fashion design competitions winning gold medals and several scholarships for her designs. With the experience she has gathered thus far in the industry, Devon would be a definite asset to a brand’s design team.
